But I found out that you can't always trust the information that's on the internet. What you need is to look at some more real life examples of college application essays about leadership in order to decide what is right for you.For instance, you may be looking for an example of a popular college application essay samples about leadership, and in the process you may find some funny or truly boring examples. I mean, I can remember several essays I've read where the author attempted to justify their leadership skills, even though they were extremely generic.T here's no way that you can learn anything from these college application essays, and your learning from them will have been greatly diminished. So here are a few examples of the best college application essays that I found, where the author tried to use what he or she called leadership skills in the essay.The first of these college application essays was written by an expert in community service. In this case, the author claimed to be a community member because of his role as a leader in his church. He never even mentions leadership as a topic, however, and uses that as a way to explain the reason for volunteering. This is a good example of an essay where you don't have to try to justify yourself; you simply talk about the fact that you did it.The second college application essays about leadership was written by someone who doesn't really define what leadership is, but claims to be an expert in it anyway. Instead, the writer uses that very term to describe the effectiveness of a lea dership program. No personality testing, nor claiming to have studied leadership are included, and this is an excellent example of a leadership essay that seems to put the onus on others to prove how effective you are at being a leader.The third of these college application essays about leadership had absolutely nothing to do with leadership. It was an essay explaining why the author was involved in the program to begin with. I found this essay so boring I really couldn't take a look at it long enough to write about it.Overall, I tried all three examples of college application essays about leadership, and they're the most common ones I came across when doing my research. I'm sure that there are hundreds of examples I could find, but I decided to focus on the most common ones, because those are the ones that I'm most familiar with.
